We also have several plantings of the native blue Rocky Mountain Columbines, but these cultivated varieties are also pretty.
Over 10 years ago now, we removed the bit of lawn in front of the kitchen entrance door, and Penelope designed and planted a Xeriscape garden here.
I know that is lavendar on the left. The succulent groundcover in the center, Purple Ice Plant, is a successful Xeriscape garden plant.
