Getting ready for the first radish at 50 mb CO2 + H20 run (approximate date early 1980). Apparatus was appropriated and set up in the LASP penthouse, underneath a solar telescope dome. This location also served as our "clubhouse" and crash pad for nights when Martians were too tired to walk or drive home.

We always walked the mall when we came to DC... We made several trips to NASA HQ before CFM I, and many after, too. The Vietnam memorial was constructed between CFM I and II, and it became a regular and somber stop on our DC Mall walks.
